Objects export and import can be performed by a dealer or user with full access to Omnicomm Online objects being imported/exported.

In “Administration” section open “Import/Export” inlet.

Select a type of objects to be exported/imported. Allowed options: vehicles, drivers, geofences, notifications or user settings.

Before vehicles importing create VH profiles using Omnicomm Configurator or use existing ones.

Select Export or Import inlet to download from or upload to Omnicomm Online.

“Export” Select one, several or a group of objects which needs to be downloaded to a file from Omnicomm Online. There is an option to export files saving groups structure and objects subgroups for vehicles, drivers and geofences. For export saving objects structure tick “Export with structure”. Press “Export”.

After Export the selected groups of profiles of objects will be saved in one archive saving groups and subgroups structures. At the end of archive name “WithStructure” added. The archive name will be formed depending on a type of exported objects and contain time and date of the objects export:

driversExport is an archive containing drivers profiles;

geozonesExport is an archive containing geofences profiles;

rulesExport is an archive containing notifications settings;

userExport is an archive containing users profiles;

routesExport is an archive containing routes profiles;

vehicleExport is an archive containing VH profiles.

“Import” Press link Select profiles files and select VH profiles, drivers profiles, geofences or notifications settings which need to be uploaded to Omnicomm Online.

Depending on imported object type:

• When importing VH, drivers or geofences select a group of objects, in which these profiles will be uploaded.
• When importing notifications settings select a user login for which notifications settings will be added.
