Notifications setup
In “Administration” section open “Notifications” inlet. The window will open:

General:
“Active” is a stop/start of events check.
When deleting a VH, driver or geofence, for which a notification is generated and only one set of these objects is selected in the setup, the notification automatically becomes invalid. In case there are several objects specified in the setup, only an object being deleted is excepted and the notification becomes “Active”.
“Name” is a notification name. A notification name should be unique.
Validity period:
- “Daily”, notifications will be generated daily, in case there are relevant events.
- “By days of week”, notifications will be generated by events happened on the selected days of week. Select days of week.
- “Selected period”, notifications will be generated by events happened within the set period of time. Set a period.
Operating time:
- “24 hours”, notifications will be generated 24 hours/7days a week, in case there are relevant events.
- “Given time”, notifications generation will be performed by events, which took place within the given period taking in account a time zone. Specify the time. There is no time restriction on input of “completion time”. If the completion time is earlier or the same as the start time, the completion time shall be within the next day.
“Time zone” is a time zone in accordance with which the time in notifications is calculated.
“Minimum time between of creation of identical notifications”, minutes is a minimum time after creation of a notification within which events checking and generation of notifications are nor performed.
“Data validity period” is a maximum time between reading of the Terminal data and their receipt by Omnicomm, with which it is possible to create notifications. Upon excess of the given time the notifications will not be generated. Potential values: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months.
“Notifications storage period” is the time during which the notifications created will be stored in Omnicomm Online. Upon expiration of this period the received notifications will be deleted.
Vehicles, geofences and events for notifications creation:

Select one VH or a VH group, upon events of which the notifications will be generated. If there is no VH or a VH group given, the notifications will be created for all VH.
“Selection of event for notifications creation” Select an event from the list “Event type, in according with which the notifications will be generated”. Potential events for notifications creation:
- Driver assignment;
- Driver deassignment;
- Liquid level sensor failure;
- Refueling/filling;
- Drain;
- Dispense;
- Ignition on;
- Ignition off;
- Allowable number of revolutions excess;
- Overspeeding;
- Standstill;
- Abrupt acceleration;
- Panic button pressing;
- Device opening;
- Power by battery backup;
- Main power restoration;
- Power-off;
- entering Geofence;
- exiting Geofence;
- Overspeeding beginning in Geofence;
- Overspeeding end in Geofence;
- Maintenance is awaited;
- Maintenance expired;
- Liquid level lower than 20%;
- Liquid level lower than 10 %;
- Liquid level lower than 5 %;
- Turning-on of additional equipment No.1;
- Turning-off of additional equipment No.1;
- Overload on additional equipment No.1;
- Turning-on of additional equipment No.2;
- Turning-off of additional equipment No.2;

To select geofences in which it is required to control over VH press link Geofences selection. Select one geofence or a geofence group, upon events of which the notifications will be generated.
“Outside selected geofences”, generate a notification, if an event took place outside the selected geofences.
Type and methods of notification:
“Important” is a notification marked as “Important” will be automatically displayed for review. It is highlighted with pink in the list.
- “Display notifications in Omnicomm” is notifications display in Omnicomm Online.
- “Send to Email” is a list of e-mail addresses receiving notifications.
- “SMS gateway” is a list of e-mail addresses receiving short notifications. Short notifications are displayed only in following cases: refuelling (filling), drain, overspeeding, liquid level sensor failure. Short notifications containing 140 characters maximum are sent in English. Location of VH in short notifications is displayed using coordinates.
This setting is recommended to be used in cases, if in mailing service sending a copy of an email in a SMS to a given number is enabled.
