Terminal replacement on the VH
There is an option to replace a terminal on a vehicle on Omnicomm Online. While replacing the terminal it is required to consider the following rules:
1. The terminal can be replaced only by a terminal of the same model.
2. A new terminal should not be registered on Omnicomm Online.
3. A new third-party terminal should be added on the Conversion server in advance.
4. Replacement of particular terminals using server-to-server interaction is not implemented. If the terminal replacement is not possible, the corresponding message will be dispalyed.
5.The terminals replacement on the VH with additional fuel tank has not been implemented yet. Login to Omnicomm Online using your dealer account. In the Omnicomm Online window in the “Administration section” open the “Vehicles” tab. Select a vehicle and press the “Terminal replacement” button. The window with the additional information will open, press “Ok” in it. The window will open:
“The factory serial number of the replaced terminal” the factory serial number of the terminal being replaced is displayed.
“The factory serial number of a new terminal” — enter the factory serial number of the terminal, which is going to be installed on the VH. For example, 20216000008.
“The operation end date of the terminal replaced on the VH” — enter the date and time starting from which the data from the terminal being replaced will not be processed on Omnicomm Online.
“The operation start date of a new terminal on the VH” — enter the date and time starting from which the data from the new terminal will be transferred to Omnicomm Online.
When the set operation date is earlier than the current date, the terminal data will be automatically loaded only for the last three days. To load all data from the set date please contact the technology support deparment.
