Use Cases
A typical chain of fuel delivery from a distribution storage facility to end consumers may look as follows. For each type of facility in the monitoring system there is a set of reports most suitable for each type of facility.
For a single enterprise, which objects are fitted with Omnicomm equipment, the most informative is Fuel Balance Report that allows tracking and monitoring fuel chains across the entire company.
A sample set of reports and options specific to monitoring in various industries. This set may vary from case to case.

Various Shapes of Fuel Tanks
Often construction and mining equipment has complex shaped fuel tanks, here we give examples of the placement of additional sensors to compensate for different inclines, height differences and severe fuel fluctuations in the tanks during operation of the machine.
Fuel Bowser (With Dispensing)
In addition to monitoring the fuel level in the tank, the mobile fuel dispenser can be equipped with a fuel flow meter, the data from which can be presented in a special ‘Fuel Dispensing’ report. This option complements the standard tank level measurement.

With remote monitoring and automated reporting, Omnicomm’s system offers full visibility into fuel levels and reduces risks associated with fuel shortages or irregularities.
In addition to fuel monitoring, many parameters from auxiliary sensors can be monitored, including via CAN-bus or MODBUS interfaces. This is especially useful when data on power output, current, voltage, etc. is available, both phase-by-phase and total.
