Fuel Level Sensor Installation Procedure When Using the Analytical Calibration Service

Installer

Installer actions:

  1. Arrival at the site.
  2. Cutting the sensor to match the tank length.
  3. Prepare all necessary settings according to chapter 2 of this manual.
  4. Installing the sensor into the tank.
  5. Connecting the sensor to the GPS tracker.
  6. Recording the tank type (cylindrical / parallelepiped).
  7. Completing the installation without performing calibration.

Customer (Operating Company)

Customer responsibilities:

  • Perform a full tank refueling at a convenient time.
  • Assign a responsible employee.
  • Provide technical support with:
    • refueling volume (according to the receipt);
    • date and time;
    • location (fuel station).

When installing the sensor without calibration, one full-tank refueling is mandatory.

To improve calibration accuracy, an additional 2–3 refuelings are recommended (not necessarily full).

Technical Support / TSP Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Locate refueling data in the FMS;
  • Determine sensor values before and after refueling;
  • Enter data into the calibration service;
  • Generate the calibration table;
  • Upload the table to the FMS.
