Fuel Level Sensor Installation Procedure When Using the Analytical Calibration Service
Installer
Installer actions:
- Arrival at the site.
- Cutting the sensor to match the tank length.
- Prepare all necessary settings according to chapter 2 of this manual.
- Installing the sensor into the tank.
- Connecting the sensor to the GPS tracker.
- Recording the tank type (cylindrical / parallelepiped).
- Completing the installation without performing calibration.
Customer (Operating Company)
Customer responsibilities:
- Perform a full tank refueling at a convenient time.
- Assign a responsible employee.
- Provide technical support with:
- refueling volume (according to the receipt);
- date and time;
- location (fuel station).
When installing the sensor without calibration, one full-tank refueling is mandatory.
To improve calibration accuracy, an additional 2–3 refuelings are recommended (not necessarily full).
Technical Support / TSP Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Locate refueling data in the FMS;
- Determine sensor values before and after refueling;
- Enter data into the calibration service;
- Generate the calibration table;
- Upload the table to the FMS.
